‘Super Drags’ trailer -Meet Netflix’s animated drag queen superheroes

It looks like “The PowerPuff Girls” meets “RuPaul’s Drag Race” meets “Charlie’s Angels.”

In other words, Netflix’s upcoming animated drag queens series “Super Drags” looks fabulous.

The trailer was released Friday, and “Super Drags” will debut November 9 for five episodes. The show is targeted to adults, meaning it will have plenty of naughty references, which is evident in the trailer.

For example, one villain promises to “suck every last bit of highlight from those queers.”

The show is a Brazilian Netflix import that has been dubbed with the voices of several “RuPaul’s Drag Race” graduates: Trixie Mattel, Shangela, Willam, and Ginger Minj.

“Super Drags” follows the adventures of three guys  who seem to lead ordinary lives. By day, they work in a department store, dealing with annoying customers and a demanding boss. But when duty calls, they set their inner divas free to become Lemon Chiffon, Scarlet Crimson, and Sapphire: three incredibly fabulous superhero drag queens recruited to protect the LGBTQ community and spread glitter throughout the world.

In July, social conservatives earned “Super Drags” some attention when they wanted the show cancelled.
