Long Beach Easter Walk to raise money for C.A.R.E. Program

LONG BEACH — Easter Walk Long Beach is a time for drag queens dressed in their Sunday best to stroll along Broadway making stops and taking shots for charity.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Easter Walk Long Beach is an annual fundraiser for the C.A.R.E. Program, the region’s largest HIV/AIDS treatment program. All money raised will be given directly to C.A.R.E.

Several bars and businesses are hosting events leading up to the Easter stroll-a-thon, which will start at 11 a.m. and end at 7 p.m.

On Saturday, Hamburger Mary’s will host the event’s 20th anniversary party

Here are the eight venues that will participate on Sunday in Easter Walk Long Beach:

  • The Falcon
  • The Brit
  • Mineshaft
  • Paradise Bar and Restaurant
