WEST HOLLYWOOD – Jared Milrad and Nathan Johnson – the first same-sex couple to appear in a presidential campaign commercial – will discuss and sign copies of their humorous relationship book, “So, You Want To Get (Gay) Married,” Friday in West Hollywood.

The couple, who will be at Book Soup from 7 to 8:30 p.m., will also talk about how Hillary Clinton’s campaign commercial put their marriage plans on the map and how to stay sane while planning to tie the same-sex knot.

Milrad and Johnson appeared in two viral presidential campaign commercials – “Getting Started” and “Equal” – that received more than 10 million views worldwide. Shortly thereafter, the couple were thrust into the international spot just weeks before saying, “I Do.”
