FRIDAY

QUEER LATINX PLAYS

Enjoy a collection of short plays celebrating the queer Latinx experience. “Brown and Out IV” at Casa 0101 Theater in Boyle Heights will feature 10 world premieres from a group of LGBTQ storytellers. The mission of the festival is to present plays showcasing the rich and diverse culture, community, and queer experiences. The festival opens Friday and runs through March 4. Tickets, $15-$45, are here.

SATURDAY

DEPECHE MODE COMING TO ANAHEIM

British-synth pioneers Depeche Mode will return to the Los Angeles in the spring as part of the final leg of their mammoth Global Spirt Tour. Fundraiser for LGBT Center OC

She’s here. She’s queer. She will be in Santa Ana. Comedienne Julie Goldman will headline the Sips and Giggles fundraiser for the LGBT Center OC. The event will start at 6 p.m. at The Frida Cinema. Tickets are $40-$85.

SUNDAY

Bloodboy will headline Love is Gay, a benefit concert at The Echo.

LOVE IS GAY: AN LGBTQ VALENTINE’S PARTY

This LGBTQ Valentine’s party will feature several musicians: Bloodboy, Pom Poms, Lucy & La Mer, Lexie Rose, Fiona Grey, DJ April O’Neil. This all ages show will take place at The Echo, and doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 advance, $12 at the door, and $1 for each ticket will go to the L.A. LGBT Center.

 

MEN’S GAY SPEED DATING

Looking for a Valentine’s Day date? The Birdcage in Santa Monica will host a gay men’s speed dating event. Tickets are $25, and registration will take place from noon to 12:30 p.m. The match making will start at 12:30 p.m. David Cruz of “Three Day Rule” and “Millionaire Matchmaker” will host.
