LONG BEACH – The Pink Party will return to kick off Long Beach Pride weekend.
Last year, the Pink Party was rebranded the Pride Rally and organized by various promoters.
The Long Beach LGBTQ Center, the original organizers, are back at the helm and have partnered with the AIDS Food Store.
The Pink Party will take place May 18 at Hamburger Mary’s Long Beach from 6 to 9 p.m.
Long Beach Pride will take place May 19 and May 20.

Drag royalty Jewels will host the Pink Party. An all-star lineup of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” celebrities will appear, and the Dreamgirls Revue will perform. DJ Smuckers will play after the show.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. VIP tables are $1,000.
All ticket sales will benefit the Center and AIDS Food Store.
Hamburger Mary’s will also donate all sales of their signature Pink Party cocktails to the organizations.
