‘Gayme Show!’ with Matt Rogers, Dave Mizzoni to debut on Quibi

The comedy competition series “Gayme Show!” will debut on Quibi April 6, the streaming service said Monday.

Hosted by Las Culturistas podcast co-host Matt Rogers and stand-up comedian Dave Mizzoni, the show is based on their live comedy show of the same name.

“Gayme Show!” pits two heterosexual people against each other in a competition of who can be more gay, with the help of “wise queers” and “women who get it.”

In each episode, which is less than 10 minutes, contestants are with a celebrity “life partner” as they battle head to head in physical, mental, and even emotional challenges for the title of “Queen of the Straights.”

The Quibi series is described as a show that “uplifts and celebrates the LGBTQ+ community and its allies,” according to a press statement.

Earlier this month, Quibi announced that soccer star Megan Rapione will host a docuseries, tentatively titled “Prodigy,” about promising young athletes for the streaming service. No streaming date for “Prodigy” has not yet been announced.
