WeHo Pride: Everything you need to know about festival, road closures

WeHo Pride will take over West Hollywood and West Hollywood Park this weekend.

Here’s everything you need to know about the parade, parking, road closures, the music festival, and street fair.

Friday

  • A free concert from 6 to 11 p.m. at West Hollywood Park that’s part of Outloud, a three-day queer music festival
  • The lineup will include Idina Menzel, Jessie Ware, Shangela, Tinashe, Jordy, Tolliver, and DJ Venessa Michaels.
  • RSVPs have reached capacity.

Saturday

  • The Women’s Freedom Festival from noon to 6 p.m. at the WeHo Pride Community Stage at the intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard and La Peer Drive. It will feature emerging LBTQ+ and Black, indigenous, and people of color women and non-binary musicians, comedians, poets, and activists.
  • WeHo Pride Street Fair from noon to 10 p.m. along Santa Monica Boulevard between Hancock Avenue and La Peer Drive.
  • The Dyke March at 6 p.m. at the WeHo Pride Community Stage.
  • Outloud music festival from noon to 11:30 p.m. with Eduardo Togi, Orville Peck, and headliner Grace Jones. Here is the full schedule.

Sunday

  • WeHo Pride Parade will step-off at Crescent Heights and Santa Monica boulevards at noon on June 4. It will travel west along Santa Monica Boulevard to Robertson Boulevard.
  • Grand marshals are “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” Laith Ashley, Niecy Nash-Betts & Jessica Betts, Melissa McCarthy, and the ACLU of Southern California.
  • WeHo Pride Street Fair takes place from noon to 10 p.m. along Santa Monica Boulevard between Hancock Avenue and La Peer Drive.
  • Outloud will be open from 1 to 11 p.m. with Princess Nokia, Passion Pit, and headliner Carly Rae Jepsen. Here is the full schedule.

Street closures

  • North San Vicente Boulevard will be closed from Melrose Avenue to Santa Monica Boulevard from 7 p.m. Thursday to 10 a.m. Monday
  • Santa Monica Boulevard, eastbound, will be closed from North La Cienega Boulevard to North Doheny Drive from noon Friday to 7 a.m. Monday.
  • North Robertson Boulevard will be closed from Santa Monica Boulevard to Melrose Avenue from 3 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Monday.
  • Santa Monica Boulevard, westbound,  will be closed from North La Cienega Boulevard to North Doheny Drive from 6 a.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Monday
  • North San Vicente Boulevard will be closed from Santa Monica Boulevard to Cynthia Street from 6 a.m. Saturday to 10 a.m. Monday.
  • Santa Monica Boulevard will be closed from North Fairfax Avenue to North Doheny Drive (including side streets one block north and one block south of Santa Monica Boulevard) from 5 a.m. Sunday to 5 p.m. Sunday. 
  • Santa Monica Boulevard from North La Cienega Boulevard to North Doheny Drive will remain closed until 7 a.m. Monday.

Facility closures

Transportation, parking

  • West Hollywood will start its Pride Ride free shuttle service during WeHoPride weekend.
  • Permit parking requirements will be suspended from 4 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Monday
  • Parking meters will be enforced throughout the weekend
