‘Unauthorized Musical Parody of Home Alone’ on stage at Rockwell in Los Feliz

LOS FELIZ — Christmas season film favorite “Home Alone” gets a twist in a new theatrical version.

In “The Unauthorized Musical Parody of Home Alone,” with performances at Rockwell: Table & Stage in Los Feliz through January 1, 2017, the role of the mischief making Kevin, made famous by Macaulay Culkin, is being played by two actresses, Gwen Hollander and Caitlyn Gallogly.

“This holiday production is a family friendly show, suitable for ages 15 and up with parental discretion,” executive producer Kate Pazakis said in a press statement.

The adaptation is written by Pazakis and Ray Wetmore, and directed by John Flynn.

Rockwell is owned by openly gay business partners Wayne Elias and Chris Diamond.

The two businessmen also own Crumble Catering, which has catered the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Award viewing party for 13 years.

Elias is the executive chef at Rockwell and Crumble Catering.
