“Drag Me Down the Aisle,” TLC’s new transformation wedding show, pairs struggling brides with fabulous drag queens who have three weeks to help them create their dream nuptials.
“Drag Me Down the Aisle” will premiere March 9, the network announced today.
“RuPaul’s Drag Race” veterans BeBe Zahara Benet, Thorgy Thor, Jujubee, and Alexis Michelle have been enlisted to help the nervous brides-to-be make it to the church on time.

“TLC is the home of weddings and we are always looking for new ways to expand in the space that will appeal to a broader audience, beyond the bride-to-be,” Howard Lee, president and general manager for TLC, said in a statement. “ ‘Drag Me Down the Aisle’ is outrageous, loud and full of surprises, all while offering viewers an inspirational journey that ends in a heartwarming transformation.”
In the debut episode, the drag queens use every trick in the purses to turn nervous Emily, an Amish Country bride — who deals with body issues and juggles a tight wedding budget — into a confidant bride in three weeks for her special day.

BEBE ZAHARA BENET
BeBe Zahara Benet, the original winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race, is inspired by Diana Ross, Grace Jones, and Beyoncé. Behind the wig, BeBe has run an event planning business for 20 years, orchestrated and decorated hundreds of weddings.
JUJUBEE
Jujubee is a professional drag performer, makeup artist, singer, and comedian from Boston. She is best known for being a contestant on season two of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” season 1 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” and a regular guest artist on companion series “RuPaul’s Drag U.”
ALEXIS MICHELLE
One of the top five contestants from Season 9 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Alexis Michelle is a Drag Superstar with quite a knack for weddings. Using her gift of hair and make-up, Alexis has glammed up hundreds of brides for their big day. When she is not glamming up brides or touring the world, Alexis stays busy with her solo show “Alexis Lives!” at The Green Room in New York City.
THORGY THOR
Thorgy Thor is a New York City-based drag performance artist, event host, and professional musician. With a degree in violin and viola performance from the Hart School of Music and Purchase Conservatory, Thorgy Thor has coordinated the music for thousands of weddings. Thorgy Thor was also a contestant on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” season eight and on “RuPaul’s Drag Race Allstars” season three.
